Our Indie Guy, Danny Brown, is out and about at North By Northeast this weekend. NXNE for short. I'm just a little jealous. And it's actually affordable...
My fellow Suite music feature writer Danny Brown, who does the indie music page here is at North By Northeast ALL weekend long!
That means Danny has another couple nights to go to take in as many of the 450 bands playing there as he possibly can. Go, Danny, Go!
It’s not like NXNE is so out of reach since you can get a wristband for $28 bucks that gets you in to see every band over four days at 40 clubs. As if you have time for that! Danny is already trying to catch as many bands as he can and he’s missing out on some he just can’t make it to. So you get more than your $28 worth.
I’m hoping to catch up with Danny sometime this weekend as he’s running around Toronto (by Skype since I’m in Phoenix, Arizona, USA) or at least next week once he’s had a chance to recover. It would be nice to talk to him for my weekly music festival podcast I do for MelodyTrip.com.
