Jordin Sparks Will Win Idol

I’ve given up on DialIdol.com and now I’m going with my gut. Sure my gut is biased since Jordin Sparks is from Arizona. But she’s still the better singer.

It was a good night on American Idol for a Jordin Sparks fun like myself. If you read my last blog, you'll know I was also particularly excited to see Elliot Yamin perform "Wait For You." It was nice to see footage of Jordin Sparks visiting her hometown of Glendale since I live close by in Phoenix. I've always liked her better than Blake Lewis, her only competition now. Simon Cowell must be steamed that his girl Melinda Doolittle didn't make it to the final two. Do you ever wonder if maybe that was a shocker engineered by reality TV?

If anything, I was hoping the final two would be Melinda and Jordin instead of Jordin and Blake. But the beat box boy made it all the way. I imagine that is the votes of the teen girl contingent showing through...

So here we go, to the homestretch! I'll be watching Jordin win next week and then will anxiously be awaiting a single, an album, anything I can own and listen to over and over again.
