Being Called an Art School Geek Isn't an Insult!

The writer of thePaste article Kendall links to talks about a friend who once argued, "David Byrne is an art-school geek who can't find his vocal range." Say what you want about Byrne's vocal range, but allow me to just point out the whole art-school geek thing! When is that a bad thing? I feel compelled to remind you Pete Townshend of The Who was an art school geek before his band made it big!

David Byrne Online is a Must-See!

David Byrne's website is one of my favorite rock websites. It's a great place to get completely in touch with both his music and visual art. You can check out Byrne's photography, a documentary, films, installations, his journal and so much more.

Few rock stars put this much effort into sharing their creativity into their websites and keeping it current. You can even listen to Byrne's own version of radio - an Mp3 play list. If you've found this page, you likely enjoy music, art, and any form of creativity. If that sounds like you, David Byrne's website is a must-do. Bookmark it today!
