My Idol Source Revealed

My American Idol Source Was Wrong!

DialIdol.com is my source and it gave me only halfway correct results. I suppose that is better than missing entirely but I still wouldn't use it in Vegas.

I was wrong! No, actually, my source was wrong about who would get kicked off American Idol last night.

It was DialIdol.com and here’s how it works:

You go to the site, download the software to dial your contestant’s number on voting night via the software. Then the software does all the voting work over and over for you. Either it gets a busy signal when it dials or your vote goes through. Then the data is added up and we find out who go the most votes on DialIdol.com.

In past episodes, it’s supposedly 85% correct, having correctly predicted Sanjaya Malakar would get kicked off American Idol the week that happened. It predicted Lakisha Jones and Chris Richardson would get kicked off this week – and that was only half right. Chris Richardson did get the boot as did Phil Stacey who fared a little better in the DialIdol results. Lakisha got lucky according to the DialIdol stats.

Good thing I didn’t go to Vegas on those percentages!
