The Police are opening the Grammy Awards tonight with their first performance together since 1984. They've been rehearsing at the Whiskey in Los Angeles, which you can only get into if you hold a special membership at the band's website. But I don't think The Police will be discriminating when it comes to selling tickets to their reunion tour to mark their 30th anniversary. We can only assume that is what is to be announced tomorrow at a press conference. Unless they want to announce another breakup due to irreconcilable differences, in which case the crowd would certainly riot. So expect me to be posting some tour news in the next 24 hours or so... A summer of Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers touring the world would be the minimum of what a fan of the Police could hope for. They certainly owe us that much!
