» cargoby - Is it time to bleep out the N word in popular music?

Could it be? Is the day finally here? Do we not have to hear the N word in pop/Hip-Hop/rap anymore? Russell Simmons says the N word, along with "bitch" and "ho" all need to go. He considers them extreme curse words.

What has taken so long? There is no reason for these words to be in popular music. This is especially true in Hip-Hop, where your skill is measured by your rhymes. A good MC can spit a rhyme in a creative way that doesn't use curse words, one would think.
